Artist's Comments

This spendid waterfall can only be seen clearly if you go out on a limb and right to the edge of this small cliff.

The water of Aira Beck cuts its way through the mountain side and these deep ravines.

To get to this waterfall you have to walk a further 20 mins or so up stream from Aira Force and in that time the sun had cut through the low cloud and was dancing on the leafs and mossy rocks.

What a view!

Light in the Valley by *lemondog Comment by =Wodanislav "This masterpiece is a true example of nature photography in the deepest sense of the word. Everything set up to make a great capture, the shutter time, the tilting lens, the angle. No there is no HDR involved here, this is just a matter of talent and patience." Nevertheless .. I don't like colour of the frame ... It seems dirty water ... [sorry ^^] Why not a white frame ?

well I've tried black and ive tried white but I've found that a slightly off white colour best compliments the photos as black can be very imposing and makes the whole photo look too dark and yet the white border can sometimes be overpowering and too contrasty. I generally only use white frames if it want a high key effect and everything else I use a much more nutral colour, in this case a blue tone white.
colour #dfdfdf

Im always looking at different types of frames so you may see some different once come up.
