Stone Pillars by lemondog Stone Pillars by lemondog
This is another shot taken at Peterborough cathedral. I have been trying to take different approaches to taking photos recently.

I have increased the contrast in the mid to shadow tones to try and bring out the detail in the stonework.

The high ISO has given it a nice level of sharpness and given it a more dirty earthy look.

Comments more than welcome!

The angle keeps the interest and the details in the stonework are nicely presented. I love the ceiling of the place, especially with how it contrasts with the pillars.

It's not problem at all, Tim. I know you're busy with the new business and all. I'm just glad you're still around here. BTW - I've been giving links to your gallery to many new friends who are also photographers, hopefully they'll drop you a hello as well. :)

I really like the angle, and the details are wonderful. It has such a "deep" look, as if you could step right into the picture.
